### 🔗 How to Connect Your Depop Store
**Step 1 — Open the Depop Automation Page**
Go to the [**Depop Automation page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/my-shops) from your PrimeLister dashboard.

**Step 2 — Enter Your Depop Email or Username**
Type the **email address or username** of your Depop account into the connection screen. Depop will then send a **magic link** to your email.
> 💡 **Why a magic link?** Depop uses passwordless login for security. You never share your Depop password with PrimeLister — Depop creates a one-time secure connection on your behalf.

**Step 3 — Copy the Magic Link (⚠️ Do NOT click it!)**
This is the **most important step** in the whole process. The magic link can only be used **once**, and it becomes unusable the moment it is **opened or previewed** by your email client.
> ⚠️ **Important — Do NOT click the "Log in" button in the email.** If you click it, preview it, or your email app auto-opens it, the link is "burned" and you'll need to request a new one.
**Here's how to copy the link correctly:**
**💻 On a Computer**
1. Open the email from Depop
2. **Right-click** the "Log in" button
3. Select **"Copy Link"** (or "Copy Link Address")
**📱 On a Mobile Device**
1. Open the email from Depop
2. **Long-press** (touch and hold) the "Log in" button — **don't tap it**
3. Select **"Copy Link"** from the menu that appears
> ⚠️ **If your phone shows a "preview" of the link when you long-press**, that preview has already opened the link and burned it. Hide the preview in your email app's settings (or use a different email client) and request a new link.

**Step 4 — Paste the Link Into PrimeLister**
Paste the copied magic link into the connection field in PrimeLister and submit.
> ✅ **You should see** your Depop store appear as **Connected** in the Depop Automation page. You're all set!

### 🆘 Troubleshooting: Most Common Connection Issues
> 💡 **The #1 question we get about Depop Automation is "Why won't my store connect?"** — almost every case comes down to magic link handling. Read this section carefully before reaching out to support.
#### ❌ "My magic link isn't working"
**Why it happens:** The link was already opened, previewed, or used. Magic links are **single-use**.
**Fix:**
1. Request a **new** magic link from PrimeLister.
2. This time, do **NOT** click the "Log in" button in the email.
3. Use **right-click → Copy Link** (computer) or **long-press → Copy Link** (mobile).
4. Paste the copied link into PrimeLister.

#### ❌ "My email app shows a preview when I long-press the link"
**Why it happens:** Some mobile email apps (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail) auto-load link previews, which unintentionally **opens the link** — burning it.
**Fix:**
* 🛠️ Disable link previews in your email app's settings, **or**
* 📨 Open the email in a desktop browser instead and use right-click → Copy Link.
Then request a new magic link and try again.

#### ❌ "I never received the magic link email"
**Try these in order:**
1. ⏱️ **Wait 1–2 minutes** — sometimes the email is delayed.
2. 📥 **Check your spam / junk folder.**
3. ✉️ **Confirm the email or username matches your Depop account exactly.**
4. 🔄 **Request a new magic link.**
> 💡 Still nothing? Double-check that the email you entered is the one your Depop account actually uses.

#### ❌ "My Depop store keeps disconnecting"
**Why it happens:** Depop sometimes invalidates the session for security reasons, especially if you log in elsewhere or change your account settings.
**Fix:**
1. Go back to the **Depop Automation page** in PrimeLister.
2. Click **Reconnect** on your Depop store.
3. Follow the magic link steps in Step 3 above.

#### ❌ "I'm connecting the wrong Depop account"
**Why it happens:** Your browser is logged into a different Depop account than the one you want to connect.
**Fix:**
1. Open Depop in your browser and **log out** of the wrong account.
2. Request a new magic link in PrimeLister using the email of the **correct** account.
3. Copy and paste that link without clicking.
