# Get started with Depop Automation

Set up Depop Automation in 3 steps. Connect with a magic link, turn on Smart Activity, Re-list and Offer to Likers. $15 per month, 7-day free trial.

Depop Automation keeps your Depop store active 24/7. It refreshes your store, relists stale listings so buyers keep seeing them, and sends offers to people who like your items.

**Depop Automation is its own subscription.** It is not included in Crosslister Tool, Poshmark Automation, eBay Automation or Mercari Automation. Crosslister Tool lists your items **on** Depop. ## Before you start

* **You know the email or username you sign in to Depop with**: you request the magic link with it.
* **You can open the email Depop sends**: the magic link works once and expires in **10 minutes**.
* **Two-factor authentication on Depop is off**: PrimeLister cannot connect your store while 2FA is on. Turn it off in the Depop app before you connect. See [Depop troubleshooting](/depop-automation/depop-troubleshooting.md).

## Step 1: Connect your Depop store

**Copy the magic link, never click it.** The link works once and expires in 10 minutes. Clicking it, or even previewing it on iPhone, uses it up. On iPhone, tap **Hide preview** first.

### Open Shops and click Connect Shop

Go to the [**Shops page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/my-shops) in Depop Automation and click **Connect Shop**. The **Connect Depop** window walks you through three steps: **Request link**, **Paste link** and **Confirm**.

### Request your magic link

Enter the **Email address or username** you sign in to Depop with, then click **Send Magic Link**. Depop emails you a **Log in to Depop** button.

### Copy the link from the email

Do not tap or click the **Log in to Depop** button. Copy the link instead, on your computer or your phone.

On iPhone, long-pressing a link opens a preview, and **the preview uses up your magic link**, in Apple Mail and the Gmail app alike. Turn previews off once, then copy the link.

**1. Turn off link previews (one time only)**

Long-press any link in any email. When the preview opens, tap **Hide preview** in its top-right corner. Your iPhone remembers this.

**2. Get a new magic link**

The link you previewed is used up. Click **Resend magic link** in PrimeLister.

**3. Copy the new link**

In the new email, long-press the **Log in to Depop** button. No preview opens now. Tap **Copy Link**, then paste it into PrimeLister.

Right-click the **Log in to Depop** button in the email and choose **Copy Link Address**.

Long-press the **Log in to Depop** button and choose **Copy link address**.

### Paste the link and click Connect

Paste it under **Paste your magic link**, or click **Paste from clipboard**, then click **Connect**. Connecting usually takes 10 to 20 seconds. Your store then shows as **Connected**.

**Your account stays safe.** PrimeLister connects with Depop's own magic link, protected with 256-bit encryption. You never share your password and you can disconnect any time. See [Account safety](/getting-started/account-safety.md).

## Step 2: Turn on your automations

### Open Automations

Go to the [**Automations page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/settings). After you connect, **every automation is off**.

### Check the settings

Click the gear icon next to an automation to set it up. See [Depop automations](/depop-automation/depop-automations.md) for every setting.

### Switch it on

Click **Enable** at the bottom of the settings, or switch its toggle on. The badge at the top changes from **Disabled** to **Enabled**.

## Step 3: Check your activity

Open the [**Activity page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/activity). If tasks show up, your automations are working.

### Check the numbers on Statistics

Each card shows how many **Re-list** and **Offer to Likers** tasks ran. Pick a range from the date menu: **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Since Yesterday**, **Last 7 Days**, **Last 14 Days**, **Last 30 Days**, **Last 365 Days** or a **Custom Range**.

### See each task on Completed

Open **Completed** to see every task with the listing, the automation and the date and time. Use the filter to show **All Activities**, **Re-list** or **Offer to Likers** only.

**No activity yet?** Re-list runs only in the **Re-listing Hours** you turned on. Offer to Likers sends an offer after someone likes your item and the **Offer Delay** has passed.

**Changed a setting recently?** Stats may be inaccurate for up to 24 hours after a change.

## Manage your stores

Your stores show on the [**Shops page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/my-shops) with their status.

* **Connected**: nothing to do. Your automations run.
* **Disconnected**: reconnect it with a new magic link. Your settings are kept.
* **Three-dot menu**: click **Remove Shop** to disconnect a store from PrimeLister.

## Connect more Depop stores

One PrimeLister account can manage several stores, each with its own automations and settings. Extra stores need a paid plan. A free trial connects 1 store.

### Open Plans & Billing

Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. On a free trial, click **Subscribe Now** first.

### Pick how many stores you need

Move the **How many Depop shops do you have?** slider to the number of stores you need (up to 10), then subscribe.

### Connect the new store

Open the [**Shops page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/my-shops) and click **Connect Additional Shops**.

### Switch between stores

Use the store menu at the top right, next to **Help**.

Need more than 10? [Chat with our team](/help-center/contact-support.md) and we add them to your plan. Depop Automation connects Depop stores only. For a Poshmark closet, an eBay store or a Mercari store, add Poshmark Automation, eBay Automation or Mercari Automation to the same PrimeLister account.

## Frequently asked questions

### My magic link says it was already used. What now?

Magic links work once. If you clicked the button or saw a preview on iPhone, the link is used up. Click **Resend magic link** and copy the new link without opening it. See [Depop troubleshooting](/depop-automation/depop-troubleshooting.md).

### Will Re-list remove my likes?

Yes. Re-list creates a brand new listing on Depop, so likes start from zero. To protect listings that already have likes, turn on **Filter by number of likes** or add them to **Relist Exclusions**. See [Depop automations](/depop-automation/depop-automations.md).

### How do I pause Depop Automation?

Switch the automation's toggle off on the [**Automations page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/depop/settings), then click **Disable** to confirm. Your settings stay saved for when you switch it back on.

### Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes, in both directions. Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. Unused time from your current plan is added to your account as **balance** and used for your next payments. See [Subscribe and change your plan](/subscriptions/change-your-plan.md).
