🔗 How to Connect Your Depop Store
Step 1: Open the Depop Automation Page
Go to the Depop Automation page from your PrimeLister dashboard.
Step 2: Enter Your Depop Email or Username
Type the email address or username of your Depop account into the connection screen. Depop will then send a magic link to your email.
💡 Why a magic link? Depop uses passwordless login for security. You never share your Depop password with PrimeLister. Depop creates a one-time secure connection on your behalf.
Step 3: Copy the Magic Link (⚠️ Do NOT click or preview it!)
This is the most important step in the whole process. The magic link can only be used once, and it becomes unusable the moment it is opened or previewed, even by a link preview you did not ask for.
⚠️ Important: Do NOT tap or click the "Log in" button in the email. Opening the link in your browser uses it up, and PrimeLister will not be able to use it.
💻 On a Computer
Open the email from Depop
Right-click the "Log in" button
Select "Copy Link" (or "Copy Link Address")
Paste it into PrimeLister
📱 On iPhone / iPad
On iPhone, long-pressing a link normally opens a preview, and that preview uses up your magic link before you even copy it. This happens in Apple Mail and the Gmail app alike, because the preview comes from iOS itself. Turn previews off first (a one-time setting), then copy:
Long-press any link in any email. When the preview opens, tap "Hide preview" in the top-right corner of the preview. Your iPhone will remember this setting.
Request a new magic link from PrimeLister. Your previous link was most likely already used up by the preview.
In the new email, long-press the "Log in" button. This time no preview loads. Select "Copy Link".
Paste the link into PrimeLister.
💡 Tip: If a preview ever opens while you are long-pressing, that link is used up. Tap "Hide preview", request a fresh link, and copy again.
📱 On Android
Open the email from Depop
Long-press the "Log in" button
Select "Copy link address". Android opens a plain menu without loading a preview, so the link stays valid.
Paste the link into PrimeLister.
Step 4: Paste the Link Into PrimeLister
Paste the copied magic link into the connection field in PrimeLister and submit.
✅ You should see your Depop store appear as Connected in the Depop Automation page. You're all set!
🆘 Troubleshooting: Most Common Connection Issues
💡 The #1 question we get about Depop Automation is "Why won't my store connect?" Almost every case comes down to magic link handling. Read this section carefully before reaching out to support.
❌ "This magic link is invalid or expired"
The exact error: "This magic link is invalid or expired. Please request a new one from PrimeLister."
Why it happens: Magic links are single-use. In almost every case, your email app's link preview opened the link before you copied it. On iPhone, the long-press gesture itself loads a preview (in Apple Mail and the Gmail app alike), which silently uses up the link. Requesting a new link and copying it the same way will fail again every time, because each new link is used up by the preview too.
Fix (iPhone / iPad):
Long-press any link and tap "Hide preview" at the top right of the preview (one-time setting).
Request a new magic link from PrimeLister.
Long-press the "Log in" button in the new email. With previews hidden, select "Copy Link".
Paste it into PrimeLister right away.
Fix (computer): Right-click the "Log in" button, choose "Copy Link Address", and paste it into PrimeLister.
❌ "My email app shows a preview when I long-press the link"
Why it happens: On iPhone, the preview is built into iOS's long-press menu, so it appears in Apple Mail, the Gmail app, and other mail apps alike. The preview opens the link, which uses it up. There is no settings menu for this: you turn it off from the preview itself.
Fix:
While the preview is open, tap "Hide preview" in its top-right corner. From then on, long-press shows only the copy menu, without loading a preview.
Request a new magic link. The one that was previewed is no longer valid.
Long-press the "Log in" button, select "Copy Link", and paste it into PrimeLister.
💻 Prefer desktop? Open the email in a browser on your computer and use right-click, then "Copy Link Address". That always works.
❌ "I never received the magic link email"
Try these in order:
⏱️ Wait 1 to 2 minutes: sometimes the email is delayed.
📥 Check your spam / junk folder.
✉️ Confirm the email or username matches your Depop account exactly.
🔄 Request a new magic link.
💡 Still nothing? Double-check that the email you entered is the one your Depop account actually uses.
❌ "My Depop store keeps disconnecting"
Why it happens: Depop sometimes invalidates the session for security reasons, especially if you log in elsewhere or change your account settings.
Fix:
Go back to the Depop Automation page in PrimeLister.
Click Reconnect on your Depop store.
Follow the magic link steps in Step 3 above.
❌ "I'm connecting the wrong Depop account"
Why it happens: Your browser is logged into a different Depop account than the one you want to connect.
Fix:
Open Depop in your browser and log out of the wrong account.
Request a new magic link in PrimeLister using the email of the correct account.
Copy and paste that link without clicking or previewing it.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Depop Automation Tool included in my Cross-lister or other PrimeLister subscriptions?
No. The Depop Automation Tool is a separate subscription. The Cross-lister Tool can cross-post listings to Depop, but it does not automate Depop tasks. For Depop automation (auto-relist, auto-offers), you need this subscription.
Can I run Depop Automation from my phone?
Yes! The tool is fully cloud-based and works on any device with a web browser: phone, tablet, or computer. You don't even need to keep your phone on once you've set it up.
Can I pause my automations?
Yes. You can pause, edit, or stop your automations at any time from the Depop Automation settings page.
Can I connect multiple Depop stores?
Yes, you can connect more than one Depop store to PrimeLister. Each store appears separately on the Depop Automation page.
Why does Depop use a magic link instead of a password?
Depop's login system is passwordless: they only support magic link logins for security reasons. This means PrimeLister never sees or stores your Depop password, which keeps your account safer.
