# Get started with Poshmark Automation

Set up Poshmark Automation in 3 steps. Connect your closet, turn on sharing, relisting and offers, and check your activity. $25 per month, 7-day free trial.

Poshmark Automation keeps your closet active 24/7. It shares your listings, joins Posh Parties, relists stale items, sends offers to likers, creates bundles and follows closets for you.

**Your computer can be off.** Poshmark Automation runs in PrimeLister's cloud 24/7. You do not need the [Chrome extension](/getting-started/chrome-extension.md) (only Crosslister Tool uses it) or an open browser. Turning off your computer or phone does not stop your automations.

**Poshmark Automation is its own subscription.** It is not included in Crosslister Tool, eBay Automation, Depop Automation or Mercari Automation. Crosslister Tool lists your items **on** Poshmark. ## Before you start

* **You have a Poshmark password**: you connect with your email or username and password. If you sign in to Poshmark with Apple, Google or Facebook, set a password first. See [Poshmark troubleshooting](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-troubleshooting.md#set-a-poshmark-password).
* **Your phone can receive Poshmark's code**: Poshmark may text a verification code to the phone on your Poshmark account.
* **Vacation mode is off**: in vacation mode, automations do not run. They start again on their own, usually within an hour after you turn it off.
* **You stop sharing by hand**: sharing by hand or with another tool counts toward Poshmark's daily limit and can trigger captchas.

## Step 1: Connect your Poshmark closet

### Open My Closet

Go to the [**My Closet page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/my-closet) and click **Connect Closet** (**Connect Additional Closets** once one is connected).

### Pick your marketplace and sign in

Under **Marketplace**, pick where your closet sells, for example **Poshmark (US)**. Enter your Poshmark **Email Address or Username** and **Password**, then click **Connect**.

### Enter the verification code

Poshmark may send a code to your phone. Enter it to finish. Do not keep requesting new codes: Poshmark limits how many it sends.

### Check that it says Connected

Your closet shows on the My Closet page as **Connected**.

**Your account stays safe.** Your login is stored with 256-bit encryption, and PrimeLister tunes the speed of every action to keep your closet safe. You can disconnect any time. See [Account safety](/getting-started/account-safety.md).

## Step 2: Turn on your automations

### Open Automations

Go to the [**Automations page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/settings). After you connect, **every automation is off**. **Last Run** under each one shows when it last ran.

### Check the settings

Click the gear icon next to an automation. Each starts with default settings that work right away. See [Poshmark automations](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-automations.md) for every setting.

### Switch it on

Click **Enable** at the bottom of the settings, or switch its toggle on. The badge changes from **Disabled** to **Enabled**. To pause it later, switch the toggle off and click **Disable** to confirm. Your settings stay saved. See [Pause, reset or turn off](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-automations.md#pause-reset-or-turn-off).

**A good start.** Turn on **Smart Activity**, **Share**, **Party Share**, **Return Share** and **Offer to Likers** first. Add **Re-list** with a **3 day** or **7 day** age filter once you see results. Keep all shares and follows under **12,000** a day, for example Share 4,000, Community Share 1,500, Party Share 2,000 per day party and 2,000 per evening party, and Return Share 750 (10,250 in total). 12,000 is a general guide, and some closets work with a different limit.

## Step 3: Check your activity

Open the [**Activity page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/activity). If tasks show up, your automations are working. Your numbers depend on your settings and your closet.

* **Statistics**: tasks run under **Automations** (one card per automation, plus **Bundle Offer**) and **Custom Tasks** (**Price Update**, **Offer to Likers**, **Re-list**, **Enhance Listing**). The default range is **Since Yesterday**. The date menu also has **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Last 7 Days**, **Last 14 Days**, **Last 30 Days**, **Last 365 Days** and **Custom Range**. A clock icon on a card means its settings changed recently, and stats may be off for up to 24 hours.
* **Completed**: each task with the listing or Posher, the automation, the closet and the date and time. Filter by **All Activities** or one automation or custom task, for example **Re-list** or **Offer to Likers**.
* **Ongoing**: Custom Tasks that are running or scheduled.

**No activity yet?** Share and Re-list run only in the hours you turned on. Re-list also needs items that match its filters (we recommend an age filter of **3 or 7 days**). Offer to Likers needs new likes, and Return Share needs Poshers who shared your items. See [Poshmark troubleshooting](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-troubleshooting.md#re-list).

## Manage your closet

The [**My Closet page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/my-closet) shows each closet with its username, email, marketplace and status.

* **Connected**: nothing to do. Your automations run.
* **Disconnected**: click **Reconnect** and sign in again. Your settings are kept.
* **Three-dot menu**: click **Remove Closet** to disconnect a closet from PrimeLister.

## Connect another Poshmark closet

One PrimeLister account manages several closets. Extra closets need a paid plan (a free trial connects 1). Each closet has its own automations and settings.

### Open Plans & Billing

Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. On a free trial, click **Subscribe Now** first.

### Pick how many closets you need

Move the **How many Poshmark closets do you have?** slider to the number you need (up to 10) and subscribe. The price updates as you move it.

On the [**My Closet page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/my-closet), click **Connect Additional Closets**.

Use the closet menu at the top right, next to **Help**.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why did my sharing stop?

Most often your closet is in share jail, a pause from Poshmark that lifts on its own after a few hours. Keep everything you share and follow under 12,000 a day. It can also be outside your **Sharing Hours**. See [Poshmark troubleshooting](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-troubleshooting.md#sharing).

### How soon can I relist an item?

The **Re-list** automation relists items from 3 days old. A **Re-list** custom task can relist an item at any age. See [Custom Tasks](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-custom-tasks.md).

### Will Re-list remove my likes?

Yes. Re-list posts the item again as a brand new listing, so likes start from zero. To move a listing up and keep its likes, use **Auto Refresh Listings** in [Smart Activity](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-automations.md#smart-activity).

### Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes, both ways. Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. Unused time is added to your account as **balance** for your next payments. See [Subscribe and change your plan](/subscriptions/change-your-plan.md).
