# Get started with eBay Automation

Set up eBay Automation in 3 steps. Connect your eBay store, turn on Re-create and Offer to Watchers, and check your activity. $15 per month, 7-day free trial.

eBay Automation keeps your eBay store active 24/7. It re-creates listings so they show up fresh in search, and sends offers to people watching your items.

* **Runs on**: PrimeLister's cloud. Manage it from your computer or the [PrimeLister mobile app](/getting-started/phone-tablet-and-computer.md#get-the-primelister-mobile-app) for iPhone, iPad and Android.
* **Connection**: you sign in on eBay and approve PrimeLister. PrimeLister never sees your eBay password.

## Before you start

* **Your eBay seller registration is complete**: PrimeLister works only with a finished eBay seller account.
* **Your business policies are set up on eBay**: Re-create uses the shipping, return and payment policies from your eBay account.

## Step 1: Connect your eBay store

### Open Shops and click Connect Shop

Go to the [**Shops page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/ebay/my-shops) and click **Connect Shop**.

### Select your eBay country

Under **Select eBay Country**, pick your eBay site, for example **eBay (US)**, **eBay (GB)** or **eBay (CA)** (more under **View more eBay marketplaces**). Click **Connect to eBay**.

### Sign in on eBay and approve

eBay opens. Sign in with your eBay seller account and approve PrimeLister.

### Check that it says Connected

You see **eBay shop successfully connected**. Your store shows on the Shops page with its eBay site and a **Connected** badge.

**Your account stays safe.** Your password stays with eBay. To disconnect a store, open its three-dot menu on the [**Shops page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/ebay/my-shops) and choose **Remove Shop**. See [Account safety](/getting-started/account-safety.md).

## Step 2: Turn on your automations

### Open Automations

Go to the [**Automations page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/ebay/settings). After you connect, **every automation is off**.

### Check the settings

Click the gear icon next to an automation. See [eBay automations](/ebay-automation/ebay-automations.md) for every setting.

### Switch it on

Click **Enable** at the bottom of the settings, or switch its toggle on. You see **Re-create automation successfully enabled** and the badge changes from **Disabled** to **Enabled**. To pause it later, switch the toggle off and click **Disable** to confirm. Your settings stay saved.

## Step 3: Check your activity

Open the [**Activity page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/ebay/activity). If tasks show up, your automations are working.

### Check the numbers on Statistics

See how many **Re-create** and **Offer to Watchers** tasks ran. Pick **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Since Yesterday**, **Last 7 Days**, **Last 14 Days**, **Last 30 Days**, **Last 365 Days** or a **Custom Range**. Stats may be off for up to 24 hours after a settings change.

### See each task on Completed

Open **Completed** to see each task with its listing and time. Filter by **All Activities**, **Re-create** or **Offer to Watchers**.

**No activity yet?** Re-create runs only in the **Re-creating Hours** you turned on. Offer to Watchers sends offers only on listings that have watchers.

## Connect more eBay stores

One PrimeLister account manages several stores. Extra stores need a paid plan (a free trial connects 1). Each store has its own automations and settings.

### Open Plans & Billing

Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. On a free trial, click **Subscribe Now** first.

### Pick how many stores you need

Move the **How many eBay shops do you have?** slider to the number you need (up to 10) and subscribe. The price updates as you move it.

### Connect the new store

On the [**Shops page**](https://app.primelister.com/automations/ebay/my-shops), click **Connect Additional Shops**.

### Switch between stores

Use the store menu at the top right, next to **Help**.

Need more than 10? [Chat with our team](/help-center/contact-support.md) and we add them to your plan. eBay Automation connects eBay stores only. For a Poshmark closet, Depop store or Mercari store, add that marketplace's automation plan in the same account.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Re-create cost anything on eBay?

It can. Every re-created listing counts toward your eBay monthly selling limits and may add insertion fees, like a listing you create yourself. Check your eBay plan before you raise the **Hourly Re-create limit**.

### Will Re-create remove my watchers?

Yes. Re-create makes a brand new listing, so watchers start from zero. To protect listings with watchers, turn on **Filter by number of watchers of listing** in Re-create settings. See [eBay automations](/ebay-automation/ebay-automations.md).

### Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes, both ways. Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. Unused time is added to your account as **balance** for your next payments. See [Subscribe and change your plan](/subscriptions/change-your-plan.md).
