#### π Troubleshooting: Connection Issues
**β I'm not receiving the OTP code when connecting my Poshmark closet**
This is one of the most common issues during Poshmark closet setup. If you've requested the verification code multiple times and nothing arrives via SMS, here's what's most likely happening and how to fix it.
**Why this happens:**
* π΅ **Your phone carrier may be blocking the SMS** from Poshmark
* β³ **Poshmark may have rate-limited your number** after too many code requests in a short period
* βοΈ **The phone number on your Poshmark account** may have an issue receiving SMS messages
**How to fix it β step by step:**
1. π² **Log in to Poshmark and update the phone number** on your account to a different working phone number *(you can change it back later if you prefer)*
2. β±οΈ **Wait about 5β10 minutes** for any rate limit on the original number to clear
3. π **Re-trigger the closet connection flow** in PrimeLister with the new phone number β the OTP code should now arrive within seconds
4. β Once connected, you can switch the phone number on your Poshmark account back to your original one if you'd like
> β οΈ **Don't keep clicking "Resend OTP" repeatedly.** Each request adds to Poshmark's rate limit, making it even harder to receive the code. **Update the phone number first**, then try again.
> π‘ **Already requested the code many times?** Give it **at least 10 minutes** before retrying β even with a new phone number β so Poshmark's rate limit on your account has time to fully reset.
