# Get started with Poshmark Automation

Set up Poshmark Automation in 3 steps. Connect your Poshmark closet, turn on sharing, relisting and offers, and check your activity. $25 per month, 7-day trial.

Poshmark Automation keeps your Poshmark closet active 24/7. It shares your listings, joins Posh Parties, relists stale items, sends offers to likers, creates bundles and follows closets for you.

**Your computer can be off.** Poshmark Automation runs in PrimeLister's cloud 24/7. You do not need the Chrome extension, an open browser tab or the app running. Closing your browser or turning off your computer or phone does not stop your automations.

**Poshmark Automation is its own subscription.** It is not included in Crosslister Tool, eBay Automation, Depop Automation or Mercari Automation. Crosslister Tool lists your items **on** Poshmark. Poshmark Automation keeps them **active** once they are there.

## Before you start

## Step 1: Connect your Poshmark closet

### Open My Closet

Go to the [My Closet page](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/my-closet) in Poshmark Automation and click **Connect Closet**.

### Pick your marketplace and sign in

Under **Marketplace**, pick where your closet sells, for example **Poshmark (US)**. Enter your Poshmark **Email Address or Username** and **Password**, then click **Connect**.

### Enter the verification code

Poshmark may send a code to your phone. Enter it to finish. Do not keep requesting new codes, because Poshmark limits how many it sends.

### Check that it says Connected

Your closet shows on the My Closet page as **Connected**.

**Your account stays safe.** Your login is encrypted and stored securely with 256-bit encryption. You can disconnect your closet any time. See [Account safety](/getting-started/account-safety.md).

### Manage your closet

### Connect another Poshmark closet

One PrimeLister account can manage several closets, so you never need a second PrimeLister account. To automate a second Poshmark closet, raise your plan's **Closet Capacity**, then connect it. Each closet gets its own automations and settings, so turn them on for each closet.

1. Open **Account > Plans & Billing** and click **Update Plan**. On a free trial, click **Subscribe Now**.
2. Move the **How many Poshmark closets do you have?** slider to the number of closets you need. The price updates as you move it. Then subscribe.
3. Open the [My Closet page](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/my-closet) and click **Connect Additional Closets**.
4. Switch between your closets with the closet menu at the top right, next to **Help**.

Need more than 10 closets? There is no upper limit. Chat with our team in the [PrimeLister app](https://app.primelister.com) and we add them to your plan.

**Poshmark Automation connects Poshmark closets only.** Want to automate an eBay store, a Depop store or a Mercari store too? Add that marketplace's automation plan in the same PrimeLister account.

## Step 2: Turn on your automations

### Open Automations

Go to the [Automations page](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/settings). After you connect, **every automation is off**.

### Check the settings

Click the gear icon next to an automation to set it up. Each one starts with default settings, so it works right away. See [Poshmark automations](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-automations.md) for every setting.

### Switch it on

Click **Enable** at the bottom of the settings, or switch its toggle on. The badge at the top changes from **Disabled** to **Enabled**.

**A good start.** Turn on **Smart Activity**, **Share**, **Party Share**, **Return Share** and **Offer to Likers** first. Add **Re-list** with a **3 day** or **7 day** age filter once you see results. Keep everything your closet shares and follows under **12,000** a day in total, for example Share 4,000, Community Share 1,500, Party Share 2,000 per day party and 2,000 per evening party, and Return Share 750 (10,250 in total).

## Step 3: Check your activity

Open the [Activity page](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/activity). If tasks show up, your automations are working.

Your numbers depend on your settings and your closet. 12,000 a day is a general guide, and some closets work with a different limit.

On **Completed**, pick an automation in the filter to see only its tasks, for example **Re-list** or **Offer to Likers**.

**Just changed a setting?** A clock icon on a card means its settings were updated recently. Stats may be inaccurate for up to 24 hours after a change.

**No activity yet?** Share and Re-list run only in the hours you turned on. Re-list also needs items that match its filters. Offer to Likers needs new likes, and Return Share needs Poshers who shared your items.

<summary>Do I need to keep my computer or browser open?</summary>

No. Poshmark Automation runs in PrimeLister's cloud, 24/7. You do not need the Chrome extension, and your automations keep running when your browser, computer or phone is off. Only Crosslister Tool uses the Chrome extension.

<summary>Can I manage my automations from my phone?</summary>

Yes. Download the free PrimeLister mobile app for [iPhone and iPad](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6478108527) or [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=primelister.posh.bot.automation.autoshare.autofollow.autooffer.followback.app) and sign in with your PrimeLister account. <summary>Why did my sharing stop?</summary>

Most often your closet is in share jail, a pause from Poshmark that lifts on its own after a few hours. Keep everything you share and follow under 12,000 a day. It can also be outside your **Sharing Hours**. See [Poshmark troubleshooting](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-troubleshooting.md#sharing).

<summary>Why is Re-list not relisting my items?</summary>

Check that Re-list is on and has **Re-listing Hours** turned on. Then check that some items in your closet match your filters, such as **Filter by age (in days) of listing**, likes or price. If no item matches, nothing is relisted. We recommend an age filter of **3 or 7 days**. See [Poshmark troubleshooting](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-troubleshooting.md#re-list).

<summary>How soon can I relist an item, and will it show under Just In?</summary>

You can relist an item once it is 3 days old. Just In placement is decided by Poshmark with its own internal date. If the item was listed in the last 60 days and the relist is an exact copy (same photos, title, description and size), Poshmark may keep its original date, so the relist may not show under Just In. Change the photos, title, description or size to get Just In. See [Poshmark troubleshooting](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-troubleshooting.md#why-isnt-my-relisted-item-under-just-in).

<summary>Will Re-list remove my likes?</summary>

Yes. Re-list deletes the item and posts it again as a brand new listing, so likes start from zero. To move a listing up and keep its likes, use **Auto Refresh Listings** in Smart Activity. See [Poshmark automations](/poshmark-automation/poshmark-automations.md#smart-activity).

<summary>How do I pause an automation?</summary>

Switch the automation's toggle off on the [Automations page](https://app.primelister.com/automations/poshmark/settings), then click **Disable** to confirm. <summary>What happens when I turn on vacation mode?</summary>

All automations stop for that closet. They start again on their own, usually within an hour after you turn vacation mode off.
