# Inventory Settings

Set up Inventory Settings in PrimeLister Crosslister Tool before you crosslist: General options, Auto Delist, Shipping Profiles and eBay business policies.

Inventory Settings in PrimeLister Crosslister Tool holds the settings every crosslist uses, such as Shipping Profiles and eBay business policies. Set it up once, before your first crosslist.

To open it, click **Settings** (the gear at the top right) on the [**Inventory**](https://app.primelister.com/inventory) page. It has five tabs: **General**, **Auto Delist**, **Shipping Profiles**, **Pricing Rules** and **Auto Sync**.

## General

These apply to every connected marketplace. Switch a setting, then click **Save Changes**. Changes apply to new crosslists.

* **Auto currency conversion**: converts prices to the marketplace currency at real-time rates, for example US to Canadian dollars on Poshmark (CA).
* **Confirm before cross-listing**: lets you preview the tasks before they are sent.
* **Attribute Enhancement**: detects and fills missing listing attributes when you crosslist.

## Auto Delist

Each connected marketplace has an **AUTO DELIST** toggle. When it is on and an item sells, PrimeLister removes it from your other marketplaces. A marketplace you have not connected shows **Connect in My Shops**. Changes on this tab save instantly. See [Auto Delisting](/crosslister-tool/auto-delisting.md).

## Shipping Profiles

Every connected marketplace has its own Shipping Profile row. The table shows each one's **SHIPPING METHOD / POLICY**, **PACKAGE** and **STATUS**.

### Click a marketplace

Open its row and fill in its shipping fields.

### Check that it shows Configured

When the row is ready, its **STATUS** shows **Configured**.

### Click Save Changes

Do this for every connected marketplace.

The fields differ by marketplace. For example:

* **Poshmark**: **Shipping Method**, the shipping discount to offer, for example **No Discount**.
* **Depop**: **Shipping Address**, the **Shipping Method** (or tick **Decide by AI**) and **Offer worldwide shipping**.
* **Mercari**: **Shipping Mode**. With **Prepaid label**, pick the **Shipping label** (or tick **Decide by AI**), set the package weight and dimensions, and choose whether to **Offer buyers free shipping**. Or pick **Ship on your own**.
* **eBay**: **Business Policies** and **Package Details**. See [eBay business policies and package details](#ebay-business-policies-and-package-details).

To add a marketplace, click **Add Marketplace**, then **Go To My Shops** and connect it on [**My Shops**](https://app.primelister.com/my-shops). Then come back here to set up its shipping.

## eBay business policies and package details

Click the **eBay** row to open its settings.

* **Business Policies**: pick your **Shipping Policy**, **Return Policy** and **Payment Policy**. These come from your eBay account.
* **Package Details**: tick **Decide by AI**, or enter the **Package Weight** (lb, oz) and **Package Dimensions** (in). Tick **Irregular shipping** if the item needs special handling.

"To list on eBay, please set up shipping policies" means your eBay account has no policy of that type yet (the same goes for return and payment). Click **Click here**, create it on eBay, then refresh and pick it.

## Pricing Rules and Auto Sync

* **Pricing Rules**: each marketplace can list higher or lower than your inventory price. See [Pricing rules](/crosslister-tool/pricing-rules.md).
* **Auto Sync**: a daily check of your marketplaces for new listings and sold items. See [Auto Sync](/crosslister-tool/auto-sync.md).

## FAQ

### Do I need Shipping Profiles before I crosslist?

Yes. Every connected marketplace needs its Shipping Profile set up until it shows **Configured**.

### Why does eBay show Selection Required on My Shops?

A business policy is not picked yet. eBay shows **Selection Required** with a **Select Policy** button on [**My Shops**](https://app.primelister.com/my-shops) until you pick it here.

### Do I need to click Save Changes for Auto Delist?

No. Changes on the **Auto Delist** tab save instantly. The **General** and **Shipping Profiles** tabs need **Save Changes**.

### Do General settings change my live listings?

No. Changes on the **General** tab apply to new crosslists.
