# Get started with Crosslister Tool

Set up Crosslister Tool step by step. Connect your stores, set Shipping Profiles, bring in your listings, crosslist to 8 marketplaces and turn on Auto Delist.

Crosslister Tool keeps all your listings in one **Inventory** and posts them to Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Grailed and Shopify. When an item sells on one marketplace, **Auto Delist** removes it from your other stores, so you never sell the same item twice.

**You need a computer with Google Chrome.** You connect stores and crosslist from a computer with Chrome and the PrimeLister Chrome extension. The PrimeLister mobile app only creates drafts. See [Create drafts on your phone](/crosslister-tool/create-drafts-on-your-phone.md).

## Before you start

## Step 1: Install the Chrome extension

### Add PrimeLister to Chrome

Open the [Chrome Web Store page](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/eepbhjeldlodgnndnjofcnnoampciipg) and click **Add to Chrome**. Then click the puzzle icon in the Chrome toolbar and pin PrimeLister. See [Chrome extension](/getting-started/chrome-extension.md).

### Log in to your marketplaces in Chrome

In the same Chrome, log in to each marketplace you sell on, for example poshmark.com, mercari.com and depop.com. Stay logged in. If you log out of a marketplace in Chrome, its connection in PrimeLister stops working.

## Step 2: Connect your stores

### Open My Shops

Go to the [My Shops page](https://app.primelister.com/my-shops). Every marketplace has its own row.

### Connect each marketplace

Click the three-dot menu in the **ACTIONS** column and pick **Connect**.

* **eBay**: sign in and approve PrimeLister.
* **Shopify**: enter your store domain and authorize PrimeLister on Shopify.
* **Other marketplaces**: the marketplace login page opens in a new tab. Log in there and PrimeLister picks up the connection.

Already logged in to your marketplaces in Chrome? Click **Connect All** at the top of the table to check every connection at once.

### Check the status

A connected store shows its store name in the **SHOP** column. Fix any **Connection Error** or **Selection Required** before you go on. See [Connect your stores](/crosslister-tool/connect-your-stores.md).

## Step 3: Set up your Shipping Profiles

### Open Inventory Settings

On the [Inventory page](https://app.primelister.com/inventory), click **Settings** (the gear at the top right).

### Configure each marketplace

Under **Shipping Profiles**, click a marketplace and set its shipping method and package. Shipping Profiles are used for Poshmark (US & CA), Mercari, eBay and Depop. Each one should show **Configured** in the **STATUS** column.

### Pick your eBay business policies

In the eBay row, choose your **Shipping Policy**, **Return Policy** and **Payment Policy** under **Business Policies**. If a warning says you need to set up a policy, create it on eBay first, then refresh the page. Fill in **Package Details** or tick **Decide by AI**.

## Step 4: Bring in your listings

Your listings live on the [Inventory page](https://app.primelister.com/inventory). Each item is one row, and the **MARKETPLACES** column shows every store it is on.

**Syncing does not use your trial quota.** Only crosslisting tasks count toward the 100 tasks in your free trial.

### Merge copies of the same item

After each sync, Auto-Merge finds the same item listed on more than one marketplace and merges the copies into one item. Nothing is deleted and every listing stays live. Open the **Auto-merged** tab on the Inventory page to check them: click **Looks right · Keep merged**, or **Not the same** to unmerge. ## Step 5: Crosslist

### Select your items

On the [Inventory page](https://app.primelister.com/inventory), tick the items you want to post. Click **Cross-list** in the bar at the bottom, or the **Crosslist** icon on a single row.

### Choose your stores

Under **LIST TO**, pick the stores to post to. A store under **Needs action** cannot take the listing yet. Click **Log In** or **Fix** next to it.

### Click List On Shops

PrimeLister creates the listings. If required fields are missing, an **Incomplete Draft Listing** message names them. Open the item, fill them in and try again.

## Step 6: Check your tasks

Open the [Tasks page](https://app.primelister.com/tasks). Running tasks are under **Ongoing** and finished ones under **Completed**, each with its **Result**.

## Step 7: Turn on Auto Delist

On the [My Shops page](https://app.primelister.com/my-shops), switch on **AUTO DELIST** for each connected store. You see "Settings updated successfully". When an item sells on one store, PrimeLister delists its copies on your other connected stores. Copies are delisted together only when they are one item in your Inventory, and Auto-Merge does this for you after each sync. Auto Delist works on one store or closet per marketplace, and Grailed and Facebook Marketplace are not supported yet (coming soon). See [Auto Delisting](/crosslister-tool/auto-delisting.md).

## Frequently asked questions

<summary>Do I need to keep my computer on?</summary>

Keep Chrome open while you connect stores and start your crosslists. Crosslists to Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop and Shopify run on PrimeLister's servers, so your computer can be off once the task starts. Crosslists to Etsy, Facebook Marketplace and Grailed run in the Chrome extension, so keep Chrome open until they finish. Stay logged in to your marketplaces in Chrome. See [Where crosslisting runs](/crosslister-tool/crosslisting.md#where-crosslisting-runs).

<summary>Can I crosslist from my phone?</summary>

Not yet. In the PrimeLister mobile app you can create drafts with AI from your photos. They land in your Inventory, and you crosslist them from your computer. See [Create drafts on your phone](/crosslister-tool/create-drafts-on-your-phone.md).

<summary>Is Crosslister Tool included in my Poshmark or Depop Automation plan?</summary>

No. Crosslister Tool is a separate subscription. Each PrimeLister product is billed on its own. Stores and closets you connected in an automation product must be connected again on the Crosslister **My Shops** page. See [Account and billing](/help-center/account-and-billing.md).

<summary>Can I connect more than one store of the same marketplace?</summary>

For eBay and Shopify, yes. They connect by API, so each can hold several accounts: use **Add eBay account** or **Add Shopify store** in the row's three-dot menu on **My Shops**, then **Switch Account** to pick the default account PrimeLister works on. Poshmark (US) and Poshmark (CA) each have their own row, so you can connect both. Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace and Grailed connect through Chrome and use the account you are logged in to in Chrome. To use another account, log in to that account in Chrome.
